This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. AxnPoint Cloud lets gym owners run a live workout dashboard; gym members connect a heart-rate source to appear on that dashboard. We collect only what the app needs to work — nothing more.

Who this covers

• Gym owners — people who create an account to run a gym dashboard.
• Members — people who join a gym’s live session from the app or a browser.

What we collect

• Owner account: name, email, business name, business address, and country/region. Passwords are secured by our authentication systems; we never see or store them in plain text.
• Billing: your subscription status and plan usage. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.
• Live session data: a chosen display name, an optional avatar, and live workout telemetry — heart rate, training zone, movement, calories and time in the zone. This is shown on the gym dashboard during a session.
• Approximate profile details: a coarse age range, weight range and sex, used only to calculate your heart-rate zones and calorie estimates accurately.
• Device identifier: a randomly generated identifier we assign to your device so your session, settings and membership keep working. It is not your name and is never used for advertising.
• Anonymous analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics that help us understand how sessions perform. These cannot be traced back to you.
• App performance diagnostics: anonymous technical measurements from a sample of app installations — such as start-up time, device model, operating system version and app version — used only to keep the app fast and reliable. They are collected under a random install identifier that resets if you reinstall the app, contain no personal information, and are never linked to your identity, profile or workouts.
• Technical: basic logs and functional storage needed to operate and secure the service (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose only: to provide and support the app’s functionality. Specifically:

• To run the live dashboard, training zones and saved workout history.
• To manage owner accounts, free trials, subscriptions and billing.
• To keep the service secure, reliable and working as intended.
• To send essential service and billing messages. Optional product emails are opt-in and can be turned off in your owner settings.

What we never do

Advertising & in-app purchases

The mobile app is free to use and shows an occasional full-screen ad between training sessions, served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure these ads, Google may collect and process a device advertising identifier and limited technical data, under Google’s Privacy Policy. On iOS we ask your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before any personalized advertising — if you decline, you still see ads, but non-personalized ones. We never share your name, account, workout or health data with the ad network. You can remove all ads permanently with a one-time in-app purchase (“Go Ad-Free”); purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and we never receive your payment details.

Service providers

To run AxnPoint Cloud we rely on a small number of trusted providers — for example, secure cloud infrastructure to host the service and a certified payment provider to process subscriptions. They act strictly on our behalf, only to deliver their service to us, under contract, and may not use your information for their own purposes. For security reasons we don’t name specific vendors here; a current list is available on request.

Health-related data

Heart-rate and workout metrics come from the member’s own device or sensor to display their live session and history. Members choose whether to connect a source and can leave a session at any time.

Data retention

Owner account and billing records are kept while the account is active and for as long as required for legal and tax purposes. Live session telemetry is short-lived and is removed when a session ends or goes idle. Saved workout history is kept until the member or owner deletes it, or the account is closed.

Deleting your data

You can delete your data at any time. Members can clear their saved history from the app; owners can remove member data and, on request, close and erase their gym’s account. We remove the data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (including under Canada’s PIPEDA and applicable U.S. state privacy laws), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may close your account. Contact us at [email protected].

Where data is processed

AxnPoint Cloud currently serves the United States and Canada. Your data may be processed by our providers in those or other countries with appropriate safeguards in place.

Children

AxnPoint Cloud is intended for gyms and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where a gym permits minors to participate, the gym is responsible for obtaining any required parental consent.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify owners.
